जाॅन हॉपकिंस यूनिवर्सिटी की रिसर्च का अनुमान- दिसंबर तक 12 लाख बच्चों और 57 हजार मांओं की मौत की आशंका

अमेरिका की जॉनहॉपकिंस यूनिवर्सिटी के शोधकर्ताओं का दावा है किकोरोना का संकटकाल समय पर जरूरी स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं न मिलनेऔर खाने के कमी के कारणढाई लाख शिशुओं की जान ले सकता है। गरीबदेशोंकी 10 हजार से अधिक मांओं के लिए अगले 6 महीने चुनौतीभरे होंगे औरइनकी जान जाने पर भी खतरा होगा। शोधकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, अगर हालात और ज्यादा बिगड़े तो दिसंबर 2020 तक118 देशों में 12 लाख बच्चोंऔर 57 हजार मांओं कीमौत हो सकती है।

मांओं की मौत का आंकड़ा बढ़ता जा रहा
द लैंसेट ग्लोबल हेल्थ में प्रकाशित रिसर्च के मुताबिक, शोधकर्ताओं ने अपने प्रयोगों और एनालिसिस सेयह जानने की कोशिश की है कि कोविड-19 का आहारऔर हेल्थ सिस्टम पर असर पड़ने से कितनी मौत हो सकती हैं। शोधकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, कोरोनालकाल में शिशुओं को जन्म देने वाली मांओं के लिए एंटीबायोटिक और सुरक्षित माहौल में कमी आई है, जिससे मांओं की मौत का आंकड़ा तेजी से बढ़ा है।

एंटीबायोटिकन मिलने से मर रहे बच्चे

शोधकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, बच्चों में मौत के खतरे के कई कारण हैं। महामारी के दौरान बच्चों में पोषक तत्वों की कमी और निमोनिया-सेप्सिस से बचाने के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा एंटीबायोटिक्स उपलब्ध न होना बड़े कारण हैं। इसके अलावा डायरिया से पीड़ित बच्चों के लिए रिहाइड्रेशन सॉल्यूशन की कमी भी वजह है।शोधकर्ताओं का कहना है कि हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि पॉलिसी मेकर्सइन आंकड़ों पर गंभीरता सेध्यान देंगे और नई गाइडलाइन जारी करेंगे ताकि जरूरी सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई जा सकें।

कोविड-19 से पीड़ित हर 4 में से 3 बच्चे अपनी बीमारी से अंजान
एक अन्य स्टडी में सामने आया है कि कोरोना से जूझने वाले हर चार में से तीन बच्चे ऐसे हैं जिन्हें अपनी बीमारियों के बारे में जानकारी नहीं। ऐसे मामले रिस्क को और भी बढ़ा सकते हैं। न्यू इंग्लैंड जर्नल ऑफ मेडिसिन में प्रकाशित शोध के मुताबिक, कोरोना से जूझने वाले लगभग सभी बच्चे पेट की समस्या से जूझ रहे थे।

इन बच्चों में से 80 फीसदी कोहार्ट से जुड़ी समस्याएं थी और कई ब्लड डिसऑर्डर से जूझ रहे थे। इन्हेंएक हफ्ते के लिए इंटेंसिव केयर में भर्ती किया गया। 171 बच्चों पर रिसर्च की गई थी जिसमें 4 की मौत हुई।
