जल्द ही रशिया अपनी एक और वैक्सीन लॉन्च करेगा। दावा है कि पहली वैक्सीन लगाने के बाद लोगों में जो साइड इफेक्ट दिखे थे, नई वैक्सीन की डोज से ऐसा नहीं होगा। वैक्सीन में जो दवाओं का इस्तेमाल किया गया है वो रशिया के टॉप सीक्रेट प्लांट से मंगाया गया है। ड्रग साइबेरिया के सोवियत बायोलॉजिकल वेपंस रिसर्च प्लांट से मंगाए गए हैं।

वैक्सीन का नाम EpiVacCorona रखा गया है। इसका ट्रायल सितम्बर में पूरा होगा। हाल ही में रशिया ने दुनिया की पहली कोविड-19 वैक्सीन 'स्पुतनिक-वी' लॉन्च की। इसे रूस के रक्षा मंत्रालय और गामालेया रिसर्च सेंटर ने तैयार किया था। यह वैक्सीन काफी विवादों में रही है।

दावा- नहीं दिखे कोई साइड इफेक्ट
रशिया की दूसरी वैक्सीन EpiVacCorona का पहला ट्रायल 57 वॉलंटियर्स पर किया गया है। वैज्ञानिकों का दावा है कि वॉलंटियर्स को 23 दिन के लिए हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती किया गया था। ट्रायल के दौरान दौरान उनकी जांच हुई। अब तक हुए ट्रायल में कोई साइड इफेक्ट नहीं देखा गया है।

अक्टूबर में रजिस्ट्रेशन और नवम्बर में प्रोडक्शन की तैयारी
वैक्सीन का लक्ष्य इम्यून रेस्पॉन्स को देखना था। इसके लिए 14 से 21 दिन में वॉलंटियर्स को वैक्सीन की दो डोज दी गईं। रशिया को उम्मीद है कि वैक्सीन अक्टूबर तक रजिस्टर्ड कराई जा सकेगी और नवम्बर में इसका प्रोडक्शन शुरू हो जाएगा।

इस वैक्सीन को वेक्टर स्टेट रिसर्च सेंटर ऑफ वायरोलॉजी एंड बायोटेक्नोलॉजी के साथ मिलकर तैयार किया गया है। यह दुनिया के उन दो प्रमुख संस्थानों में से एक है, जिसके पास चिकनपॉक्स की वैक्सीन का सबसे बड़ा स्टॉक है। दूसरा संस्थान अमेरिका में है।

कोरोना की 13 वैक्सीन पर काम किया
सोवियत बायोलॉजिकल वेपंस रिसर्च प्लांट और वेक्टर रिसर्च सेंटर ने मिलकर अब तक कोरोनावायरस की 13 वैक्सीन पर काम किया है। इनकी टेस्टिंग जानवरों पर हुई थी। वैक्टर रिसर्च सेंटर के साथ मिलकर औद्योगिक स्तर पर स्मॉलपॉक्स का टीका बनाया गया था। पिछले कुछ सालों में इसी संस्थान के साथ मिलकर रूस ने ब्यूबोनिक प्लेग, इबोला, हेपेटाइटिस-बी, एचआईवी, सार्स और कैंसर का एंटीडोज तैयार किया था।

रशिया की पहली वैक्सीन 'स्पुतनिक-वी' के 5 बड़े विवाद
रशिया ने दुनिया की पहली कोविड-19 वैक्सीन का रजिस्ट्रेशन 11 अगस्त को कराया था। यह काफी विवादों में रही क्योंकि तीसरे चरण का ट्रायल पूरा होने से पहले ही इसे लॉन्च कर दिया गया। इसके नाम कई विवाद रहे।

• पहला: रशिया की पहली वैक्सीन 'स्पुतनिक-वी' के पहले से लेकर तीसरे चरण तक की जानकारी और विस्तृत आंकड़ा नहीं जारी किया।
• दूसरा: ट्रायल के दौरान विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) की गाइडलाइन का पालन नहीं किया गया। WHO ने वैक्सीन को खतरनाक बताया।
• तीसरा: रूस ने दावा किया जिनको वैक्सीन लगी उनमें साइडइफेक्ट नहीं दिखे। जबकि रजिस्ट्रेशन के दस्तावेज बताते हैं, वैक्सीन मात्र 38 वॉलंटियर्स को दी गई। इनमें 144 तरह के साइड इफेक्ट दिखे।
• चौथा: वालंटियर्स में बुखार, शरीर में दर्द, शरीर का तापमान बढ़ना, जहां इंजेक्शन लगा वहां खुजली होना और सूजन जैसे साइड इफेक्ट दिखे। इसके अलावा शरीर में एनर्जी महसूस न होना, भूख न लगना, सिरदर्द, डायरिया, गले में सूजन, नाक का बहना जैसे साइड इफेक्ट कॉमन थे।
• पांचवा: रूसी सरकार और वैक्सीन तैयार करने वाले संस्थान ने अलग-अलग बयान दिए। सरकार ने कहा, ट्रायल में कोई साइड इफेक्ट नहीं दिखा। वैक्सीन तैयार करने वाले गामालेया नेशनल रिसर्च सेंटर ने कहा कि बुखार आ सकता है, लेकिन इसे पैरासिटामॉल की टेबलेट देकर ठीक किया जा सकता है।
