SUPPLIERS have increased their stocks of Hormone Replacement Therapy drugs in a bid to ensure it is "available for everyone who needs it". Demand for HRT is greater than ever, with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society reporting prescriptions for the medication leapt from 238,000 in January 2017 to almost 538,000 in December 2021. Hormone therapy is most often used to treat common menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes.
