Fatty liver disease: Condition may boost heart failure risk by 50% - symptoms



NAFLD stands for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease; it is a condition caused by the build-up of fat in the liver, one not resulting form excessive alcohol. As with others, the presence of NAFLD can increase the risk of other, more serious, conditions developing. This includes conditions which affect the cardiovascular system.
