STAND-UP comedian Ed Gamble, 36, is no stranger to speaking out about his type 1 diabetes. Having turned his diagnosis into a special called Blood Sugar, he often points out how type 1 can be misunderstood. For Diabetes Week, Ed sat down with Express.co.uk to recall the first signs that led his mum to pick up the symptoms of diabetes when he was only 13 years old.
