JEAN MARSH is the award winning actress best known for her role in popular TV series Upstairs, Downstairs. The 87-year-old played Rose Buck from 1971-75, reprising the role in a revival of the series later in 2010. Despite the show remaining popular, Marsh appeared less frequently in the later episodes as her health took a worrying turn.
