Cutting down on calories can boost longevity - but how much should you cut back? Study



RESEARCH has proved a calorie-restricted diet in non-obese people translates into less damage in muscle cells, according to Pennington Biomedical Research Centre. It showed how oxidative damage is linked to ageing and could explain how limiting calorie intake without malnutrition extends life expectancy.
