Microsoft founder Paul Allen's £1.3 billion art sale
Wealthy art lovers paid a record £1.3billion yesterday for a collection of masterpieces owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. More than 150 works by Van Gogh, Picasso, Cezanne, Monet, Seurat and David Hockey were auctioned at Christie's in New York.
