ALZHEIMER'S disease is a neurological disorder that results from the disruption of brain cells due to a build-up of toxic protein in the brain. This slowly paves the way to a loss of cognitive functions, but debilitating fatigue is also a sign. Researchers believe this drowsiness could result from damage to the brain cells that keep people awake.
