Supermarket Mere dubbed ‘Russian Lidl’ planning 300 UK stores - taking on discounters

RUSSIAN food retailer Mere announced last month that it would be opening four stores in the UK. The discount supermarket chain claims to be cheaper than its rival discounters, Aldi and Lidl.
