Supermarket face mask rules as councils send inspectors to enforce coverings across the UK
SUPERMARKETS including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Aldi made wearing a face mask in-stores mandatory in July after the Government enforced the safety measure. However, at the time, the food stores said that this wouldn't be enforced by the staff. Now with the UK in its third lockdown and cases still high, councils are now sending inspectors to enforce the face covering policy.
