Lung cancer: ‘Ground breaking’ drug that stops tumour growth to be offered to NHS patients

THERE are 47,800 new lung cancer cases in the UK every year, which equates to around 130 every day. However, a new drug which can stall the progression of tumours has been acquired by the NHS, and patients in England will be the first in Europe to receive it.
