सितंबर के शुरुआती 3 दिन तक एयरपोर्ट की हर एक्टिविटी पर ट्रांसपोर्ट रेटिंग एजेंसी स्कायट्रैक्स ने नजर रखी। एजेंसी की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, रोजाना की तुलना में 70 फीसदी तक यात्रियों की संख्या घटी हुई नजर आई। लेकिन सुविधाओं और सैनेटाइजेशन के चेक पॉइंट के कारण यहां का नजारा थोड़ा व्यस्त दिखा। यात्रियों के निकलने वाले हर हाई चेक पॉइंट्स पर हाथों को सैनेटाइज करने की व्यवस्था की गई थी।
एयरपोर्ट के सीईओ मार्को ट्रॉनकॉन कहते हैं, अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर हमें सराहा गया है। इमरजेंसी के इस दौर में यह अवॉर्ड मिलने पर हम काफी खुश और संतुष्ट हैं। यहां हर सरकारी प्रोटोकॉल को यहां सख्ती से लागू किया गया है।
5 स्टार एयरपोर्ट के मायने क्या हैं
एजेंसी स्कायट्रैक्स के मुताबिक, फ्युमिसिनो एयरपोर्ट को 5 स्टार दिया गया है। इसका मतलब है यहां सफाई, मेंटेनेंस और सिक्योरिटी का स्टैंडर्ड दुनिया में सबसे बेहतर है। 4 स्टार का मतलब गुड और 3 का मतलब एवरेज है। ऐसे एयरपोर्ट जिन्हें 2 स्टार मिलते हैं उन्हें कोविड-19 प्रोटोकॉल को लागू करने में अधिक ध्यान रखने की जरूरत है।
किस एजेंसी ने यह अवॉर्ड दिया
स्कायट्रैक्स ब्रिटेन की एयरलाइन और एयरपोर्ट की रैंकिंग और रिपोर्ट जारी करने वाली एजेंसी है। इस एजेंसी की ओर हर साल वर्ल्ड एयरलाइन अवॉर्ड दिए जाते हैं। एजेंसी ने कोविड-19 एयरपोर्ट रेटिंग प्रोग्राम की शुरुआत अगस्त में की थी। फिलहाल इसमें अभी यूरोप के एयरपोर्ट शामिल किए गए हैं। अक्टूबर 2020 से मिडिल ईस्ट और एशिया के एयरपोर्ट की रेटिंग जारी की जाएगी।
