HIGH CHOLESTEROL levels are estimated to cause 64,000 deaths in the UK each year, which is an average of 175 each day or one death every eight minutes. As the NHS recommends, one way to reduce cholesterol levels is to eat less fatty foods. Yet research released today shows that eating one specific food can reduce your risk of not only high cholesterol but heart disease too.
